About your session: Together, you and I will discuss a location that best fits your individual personality.  There are multiple locations in the area with rural/rustic, urban/modern, and classic feels.  Everyone has a different style and I want that to be reflected in your photos.  I’m all about natural light and a natural feel…be yourself!

I love placing the focus on the client.  I’m not into a bunch of over editing and sun flare in your face.  I want your photos to reflect what’s important and precious and that’s you and your loved ones.  My look is fresh, crisp, colorful and simple.

A full session allows plenty of time for scene changes, wardrobe changes and different poses for your photos.  I promise, together, we will get some great shots with plenty of different elements and styles that you are sure to enjoy and cherish forever!

After we have set a date it’s up to you to decide what to wear!  A week or so before your session, I’d love to know what your colors are to help with location, backgrounds and any props that we might need.  It helps me get a feel of what our shoot might entail!

What to wear: I have NEVER considered myself a fashionista (I’m a t-shirt, jeans and flip-flop kinda girl), but I do know that bright, funky, eclectic colors look fabulous in photos!  If casual is more your thing, perfect, but try to stay away from too much white and tan (unless we are at the beach!)…trust me, you’ll want a little more flavor in your photos!

What happens after we finish your session? Within a few days, I will post a couple of “sneak peeks” on my Facebook page for you and your friends and family to enjoy.  Then within 2 weeks, I will mail you a disk with your images and a copyright release.  I do offer professional printing through my lab and this will give you the best quality, clarity and color.  Please ask about printing information and prices.

It’s ALL about you!:  Above all, I want your experience with me to be fun, relaxed and memorable!  I have a 5 old and a 1 year old and trust me, photographing children can be very trying!  Young children and toddlers can be tough so bring snacks and toys they love (to make it easier on them and us!) I’d love to discuss what your family is all about and things you’re interested in prior to your session as to connect better with you and your family!  Together, we will capture your memories and help you to always remember the precious times like these!
